01 / COMPARE YOUR LIGHTING
Use total fixture wattage, including ballast losses when known. Compare fixtures that deliver suitable light levels; lower wattage alone does not confirm equivalent lighting.
Use the energy rate from your utility bill. The starting rate is an example, not a current FPL quote. Include equipment and installation in project cost for a simple payback estimate.
03 / SAVE YOUR RESULTS
Your PDF includes your lighting inputs, annual cost comparison, optional payback estimate and next steps for a custom quote from Electryfy.

Annual electricity use (kWh) = fixture quantity × fixture watts ÷ 1,000 × daily operating hours × operating days. Annual energy cost = annual kWh × your electricity rate. Savings = existing annual cost minus proposed LED annual cost.
If you enter an installed project cost, simple payback = project cost ÷ annual energy savings. 5-year net ROI = (annual energy savings × 5 − project cost) ÷ project cost × 100. 10-year net ROI uses the same formula with 10 years. These are cumulative returns, not annualized, and assume constant electricity rates, operating hours and fixture performance. They exclude maintenance, replacements, rebates, financing, taxes and demand charges.
Yes. Enter the actual total wattage of each existing fixture and the proposed LED replacement. Include ballast power when known. Use a separate calculation for each group with different wattages or schedules.
No. Compare lumens, distribution, mounting height, color quality and required light levels. Electryfy can help plan fixture selection, and photometric planning can support the lighting layout.
No. The tool estimates energy savings from your inputs. A custom quote requires a review of the property, equipment, electrical conditions, installation scope and any permitting requirements.
